Introduction
This power combo consists of Skylord 50A ESC and Tomcat TC-G-5020-KV680 (G46) motor. It has the advantages of strong power, precisely controlling, rapid response and etc.
Features
Skylord 50A ESC
- Microprocessor in the ESC is powered by separate voltage regulator IC, with better anti-jamming capability, greatly reducing the possibility of out of control.
- The throttle range can be configured, fully compatible with the available transmitter. The ESCs have smooth and accurate speed control, and excellent throttle linearity.
- The highest motor speed: 210000 RPM (2 poles), 70000 RPM (6 poles), 35000 RPM (12 poles).
- Support three start modes, Normal, Soft and Super-soft. Normal mode is suitable for fixed-wing aircraft. Soft and Super-soft modes are suitable for helicopter.
- The ESC has full protection features such as low voltage protection, over-heat protection, over-load protection, and throttle signal lost protection, it can effectively extend the service life of the ESC.
- Support multiple programmable items which could meet more users' need.
- A 3-in-1 programming card with a very small size and intuitive interface can be purchased additionally for easily programming the ESC. It brings much more convenience for users than transmitter.
Tomcat TC-G-5020-KV680 (G46) motor
- The motor is made of high-strength aluminum alloy casing which can greatly strengthen the impact resistance.
- The winding uses 240℃ heat-resistant magnet wire after the vacuum impregnation treatment, which can improve the heat conduction and heat resistance, prolong the service life of motor.
- Special bearing imported from Japan is wear proof. It still provides smooth high-speed rotation after using for a long time.
- N45H magnet is hard to degauss even in the high temperature and can guarantee the reliable high torque output.
- Optimized design provides high efficiency way for dissipating heat, which gives the capability of consistent high power output.
- Through the handling of dynamic balancing, Tomcat motor can lower the vibration and noise during the motor’s high-speed rotation.
